A blender processes the whole fruit or veggie, including the fiber, making thicker, more filling drinks like smoothies. In additon, blenders are better for adding herbs like mint because they fully blend the herbs into the juice. Juicers often don’t mix in herbs well, as they separate out the pulp.
Choose a blender if you want to keep the fiber and incorporate herbs.
How to make Pear Juice that is tasty
First step: Prepare the fruits and vegetables for juicing
Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly. Trim the tops off the carrots. For pears, I prefer to leave the skin on for extra fiber, but you can peel them if you like. Peel the lime and orange, then cut them into quarters so they fit into the juicer. If you’re using a blender, be sure to core and chop the pears into smaller pieces for easier blending.
Second step: Juice or blend
for using a juicer: Push the fruit through the juicer and don’t forget to place a jar or glass to collect the juice.
for a blender: Place the pear pieces in the blender and blend until smooth. I strongly recommend using a blender when adding herbs like mint into the mixture. With a juicer, you will lose most of the herb scent.
Third step: Strain (Optional)
For smoother juice, strain the homemade juice through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth.
Fourth step : Serve
Pour the juice into your glasses and serve immediately. If you like, add some ice cubes for extra chilled juice in the summer!

Instructions

Blend the pears on high until smooth, which usually takes 1-2 minutes, depending on your blender's power. Check the juice consistency. If it's too thick, thin it with water or apple juice. You can also add ice cubes to chill and refresh the juice. Blend again until the ice is fully incorporated. This method retains fiber and nutrients. It is also best method when you want to implement herbs, like mint or basil.
For pulp-free juice, strain the mixture using cheesecloth, a nut milk bag, or a fine mesh strainer, pressing to extract all the liquid.
Using juicer
