This light and fluffy foaming bath whip recipe is made of natural ingredients and is suitable for dry and sensitive skin. This versatile whipped body wash is enhanced with raspberry scent, color, and raspberry seed oil that make it real… raspberry!
Is it foaming bath butter or whipped soap?
Both! It perfectly cleans your body while it nourishes and hydrates your skin. This foaming bath whip recipe may also help with shaving. It is a whipped body soap carrying also the properties of moisturizing bath butter.

How is this foaming bath whip recipe used?
This whipped body wash is fluffy, soft, nutritious, and foamy! That feature makes it easily spreadable. Thus, all you need is to take a little foam in your hand and apply it all over your body. This foaming bath butter will create a beautiful foam on your body and the bathtub. You can try to push a bit of foaming bath whip under a stream of running water, where it expands like a classic bath foam.
Foaming bath butter ingredients
To make this fluffy and soft foaming bath whip, you need to start from the foaming bath whip base.
While I like to make things from scratch, I made an exception in this case and purchased this foaming bath whip base that I online. It is made of natural ingredients, free of any parabens with ideal pH (5.5), thus suitable also for facial applications. One of the main ingredients is, among others, glycerin that hydrates the skin leaving it smooth and moisturized.
This foaming bath whip doubles the volume after whipping with a blender. If you wish to do it from scratch, follow this tutorial.

Adding raspberry scent
To make the whipped body wash that smells like a raspberry bush full of juicy fruits, I used this raspberry extract that gives such a natural scent of raspberries that I wanted to eat it than using it in a bath.
Color like raspberry
To get the most authentic raspberry color and fragrance, I used raspberry powder that you can make on your own or purchase online.
Alternatively, you can achieve a slightly pink color of raspberries if you use this beetroot powder; however, the scent is somewhat different. There is also mica powder, a natural die that could be used as well.

Raspberry seed oil
To accomplish the full Raspberry feeling and properties, I concluded this recipe with raspberry seed oil. This cold-pressed oil has impressive effects on the foam and the skin too. Suitable for sensitive skin, this raspberry seed oil helps
with eczema, psoriasis, and pimples and alleviates the signs of aging.
In addition, it’s also excellent as a natural sunscreen. According to research, raspberry seed oil can absorb UV rays and protect our skin against sun rays.
The red raspberry seed oil contains many antioxidants, vitamin A and E, thus contributing to healthier, tighter, and smoother skin.
How to make whipped soap
First step
Using a knife or spoon, break up the foaming Bath Butter base into smaller chunks for easy mixing.
Second step
In a medium-sized bowl, mix the foaming bath butter base with raspberry oil and whisk both ingredients nicely with a hand mixer.

Third step
Add raspberry extract, vitamin E and raspberry powder and mix it well until you double the volume and make a beautifully fluffy and rich foam. However, if you whip it too hard thus raising more than double the original volume, it may collapse. So be careful.

Fourth step
Transfer the foaming butter into a glass jar and place it ideally in close proximity to the bathtub – so that you can reach for it immediately when you need relaxation!

How to use this foaming bath whip
This rich in texture foaming bath whip gently cleanses your body and keeps it nourished and hydrated. Thus it acts as a body conditioner without applying an additional body butter.
It can also be easily turned into the scrub. The best way to do so is to add raspberry seeds into the mixture or use other exfoliants such as Himalayan salt or sugar. The exfoliants will help to remove old skin cells leaving your skin smooth and soft.
This rich whipped body wash can serve as hydrating shaving cream for the face or body that makes your facial hair softer enabling smooth shaving.
You can also use it as a face wash that cleans your skin even if your skin is sensitive or dry. This foaming face cleanser is mild and gentle on the skin while removing makeup, dirt or excess oils.
Apply on your hair as a shampoo and conditioner in one. This foaming bath whip contains gentle surfactants and conditioning agents that can be made into a mild hydrating shampoo with a conditioner.

Why should I use foam soap?
- Washing your hands and body with foaming bath whip reduce water consumption (about 16 %) You can reduce it up to 45% if you allow the whipped body wash to lather without additional water.
- Using whipped soap gives you more luxurious feeling thanks to its rich and thick texture.
- You need to apply less foam soap than liquid soap to achieve the same result
- It is easier to wash it away
- It doesn’t dry your skin leaving it moistured and nourished

When stored in a clean and air-tight container, this whipped body wash will last 6-8 months.
You can use a soap bar or melt and pour base that you first melt in the microwave for about 20-30 seconds, add water and oil into a melted soap and mix it with a blender or hand mixer to get whipped soap.
You can also achieve whipped body wash with solid Castille soap that you grate and mix in the bowl with filtered water. Use a microwave or heat it in the pot to melt the soap, add oils and whip it a hand mixer or blender to achieve the whipped consistency.

This may be “natural”ish.. and that’s a stretch. The base contains an ingredient that releases formaldehyde. The amazon listing stats it’s natural. But their website does not. Seems like a questionable product to me.
