This Immune boom juice uses different fruits and vegetables to boost your immune system, keep you healthy and refresh you.

I cannot wait for spring to be in full swing with blooming flowers and trees when I spend more time outdoors. However, as much as I enjoy the season, it is a time of the year when I must prioritize my health and well-being. Therefore, besides sleep, I focus on eating a healthy diet rich in whole foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and proteins.

I love to use herbs rich in vitamin C to boost my immunity, like rose hips or elderberries, which I can forage in the late summer and early fall.

On the other hand, nettle is packed with nutrients that can help support a healthy immune system and you will find it already in early spring. This green smoothie is packed with nettle and dandelion leaves that help to cleanse your body from accumulated toxins and boost your energy levels.

This immune bomb juice combines different fruits and vegetables with a wide range of vitamins and nutrients to support a healthy immune system. By making this juice, you would successfully pass one day of this 30-day challenge to become healthier every day.

Ginger:

Ginger is known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, which can help to reduce inflammation and protect against colds and flu.

I used it in this lemon ginger turmeric shot recipe or to make this flu bomb.

The lemon and navel orange is high in vitamin C, essential for immune function, and can help ward off infections.

Apple

The apple adds a touch of sweetness and fiber while also providing additional vitamins and minerals like potassium and vitamin K.

Beetroot

Beetroot is a rich source of antioxidants and vitamin C that help to support your body against infections. In addition, it is a great way to incorporate more vegetables into your diet.

For this recipe, it’s best to use fresh raw beetroot. Raw beetroots are a great source of nutrients, including vitamins and minerals, and they have a sweet, earthy flavor that pairs well with the other ingredients in the juice.

Carrot

Carrots are a great source of beta-carotene, which the body converts to vitamin A, an essential nutrient for immune function, vision, and skin health. They are also high in antioxidants, which can help reduce inflammation.

How to store the Immune boosting juice?

First step – Wash and prepare all the fruits and vegetables.

Cut the apple and orange into smaller pieces that fit into your juicer or blender. Then, add the apple, orange, beetroot, carrot, and ginger to a blender or juicer.

Second step – Juice it.

The juicer will make a smooth and colorful juice that is delicious. If you are using a blender you may want to strain the pulp before serving.

Third step – Serve

Pour the juice into a glass and serve immediately. You can garnish it with a slice of fruit or a sprig of mint. You can also chill the juice in the refrigerator before serving or add a few ice cubes.

One of the best things about immune boom juice is that it is easy to make at home, using just a few simple ingredients and a blender or juicer.

It is a quick and convenient way to boost energy and immunity when feeling down or under the weather. Moreover, it has endless variations:

Ginger

Replace it with turmeric for an anti-inflammatory boost or cinnamon for a warming flavor.

Beetroot

You can use red cabbage, celery, or radishes for similar color and nutrients for beetroot.

Carrot, you can use sweet potato or butternut squash for a similar texture, sweetness, and vitamin A content.

How to store the Immune boosting juice?

It’s best to consume it right after making it to ensure you get the maximum nutrients. If you need to store it for later, keep it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 24 hours. However, the longer you store the juice, the more the nutrients and flavor degrade. So shake it well before consuming.

This juice is perfect for children and a great way to sneak veggies into their daily routine. My son didn’t like the taste of beetroot, so I skipped it for him.
