This delicious peach water is an easy, refreshing peach drink that helps you stay hydrated all summer long.

Water intake is extremely important, as it dominates the global consumption of packed beverages, accounting for almost 34%.

Not a fan of regular water? This peach-infused water is a simple solution to boost your water consumption. Made with fresh and tasty peaches, you can keep it as it is or add additional flavors. Staying hydrated this summer never tasted so good.

Lately, I began exploring more choices for non-alcoholic beverages. While I enjoy a nice glass of red wine or a refreshing beer, I never have it during the day. I make an effort to consume plain water or herb water whenever possible. Still, this peach-infused water recipe has become a great way to increase water intake. that not only looks appealing but also tastes delicious.

Indeed, it’s a perfect solution for when you have friends visiting you on a hot summer day as it looks appealing and also tastes sublime.

Homemade Peach syrup

peach syrup (optional)

Peach syrup adds sweetness and a peachy flavor to this peach infused water recipe.

When it comes to making this water with peach syrup, it is recommended to use a high-quality peach syrup made from real peaches or natural peach flavors. Look for syrups that are free from artificial sweeteners or additives. While you can find good quality peach syrup in stores, I prefer to make them homemade to control the ingredients. It is very easy. especially if you have an abundance of peaches. Just by simmering fresh peaches with sugar and water, you can create a tasty peach syrup that has versatile uses, however it is best used in summer cocktails.

Another delicious way to enjoy this drink is by dropping a slice of lemon in to balance the flavors and boost freshness.

Variations to Peach Agua Fresca

  • Get creative and add your favorite berries, such as strawberries or blueberries. This infusion gives extra sweetness and a burst of vibrant colors. Other fresh fruits like mango or apricots will work too.
  • Grate or slice some fresh ginger for a subtle spicy note. Ginger pairs well with peaches and makes for a refreshing element.
  • Experiment with fresh basil, rosemary, mint, or thyme. Simply add a sprig or two of your chosen herb and let it infuse with peaches. A combination of fruits and herbs works great in infused waters.
  • Add Rosewater for more flavors and benefits. Start with ½ tablespoon added directly into the water, increase to taste.
  • For a delicious and nutritious twist, use chia seeds. Simply add around a quarter cup of chia seeds to the full pitcher and let them soak for a few hours. This will not only enhance the texture of the drink but also provide additional benefits like protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and various nutrients.
can I use frozen or canned peaches to make peach water?

Can I use frozen or canned peaches?

Yes, you can use frozen peaches too. Just let them thaw, slice them, and add them to the water like fresh peaches. For canned peaches, make sure to drain them from the syrup before adding them to the water. Remember that frozen or canned peaches may not look as nice as fresh ones, but they will still make the emulsion tasty.

How to Make More and Store?

You can prepare the water one day in advance and keep it stored in the fridge for up to 4 days.

Recipe Tips and Tricks

Look for slightly soft peaches that have a sweet aroma and vibrant colors. Ripe peaches will release more flavor into the water.

Allow the water to sit in the refrigerator for at least 1-2 hours to let the flavors come out. For a stronger peach flavor, you can leave it overnight.

Invest in a fruit infuser bottle or large pitcher with a built-in infuser core; they make it easier to pour and serve.

Prepare a large batch in advance and keep it refrigerated for a fresh and convenient drink throughout the day.
