Ingredients to make DIY essence for face
Violet infusion and its benefit for the skin
made by the infusing violet leaves in water. Violet infusion contains mucilage that soothes and moisturizes dry skin and hair. Violet infusion possesses anti-inflammatory properties that help heal and soothe wounds, bruises, and rashes and aid with skin issues such as acne or eczema.
Mucilage present in violet infusion soothes and shapes hard to manage hair.
Apple cider vinegar benefits
Made of fermented, crushed apples, Apple cider vinegar has been used for centuries in cooking, natural remedies, and skincare.
Apple cider vinegar (ACV) contains astringent acetic acids that help to reduce acne-causing bacteria on the skin (1).
It also has astringent tannin that aids in cleansing the skin, removing excess oils, and restoring its pH.
ACV is also very beneficial for hair. Thanks to its acidic nature, ACV can wash out grease and grime that has been clumped up in hair for a long time while keeping the hair intact.
Thanks to its astringent activity, ACV removes dead skin cells and restores the healthy ph balance of the scalp.
Its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial activity helps your scalp to be bacteria-free
Aloe vera benefits for skin and hair
In this homemade face essence, I was using fresh aloe vera gel directly cut from my aloe vera plant. You can also buy aloe vera gel that already contains preservatives. Aloe’s gel healing properties and antibacterial action are well known and used to treat burns and sunburns, scars or wounds. It is good to know that aloe is successfully used in skincare products that are designed to treat acne thanks to its anti-inflammatory activities (2).
If you want to have the perfect skin, include this toner and aloe vera cream in your daily skincare routine.
Aloe vera is easy to absorb and make it, therefore, an ideal moisturizer
There is clinical evidence that aloe vera helps with dandruff and an itchy scalp. In this study they successfully used aloe vera to treat scalp inflammation. (3)
Aloe vera can also help with stripping off extra sebum from hair follicles without hurting the hair. (4)
Aloe contains several vitamins (A, C, E, B12 and folic acid) that manage to turn the cell into promoting healthy cell growth and keep the hair from falling out.
Using aloe vera is a great way to get hair that looks healthier, shinier, and softer.
Aloe vera also has cooling properties and it might help repair hair from sun exposure. Its ability to increase blood circulation might promote hair growth
